Brussels sprouts time is here, and we would love to show you why
Brussels sprouts may have unique health benefits in the area of DNA protection. A recent study has shown improved stability of DNA inside of our white blood cells after consumption of Brussels sprouts in the amount of 1.25 cups daily for 6 weeks. Interestingly, it's the ability of certain compounds in Brussels sprouts to block the activity of sulphotransferase enzymes that researchers believe to be responsible for these DNA-protective benefits.

Turmeric Contains Bioactive Compounds With Powerful Medicinal Properties
Turmeric contains curcumin, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Chronic inflammation is known to be a contributor to many common Western diseases. Curcumin can cross the blood-brain barrier and has been shown to lead to various improvements in the pathological process of Alzheimer’s disease.
